Excerpts from my Google reader~it’s like settling down to read a good book that’s never ending, as I always find something inspiring, thought provoking or just plain funny.

Usually I don’t care much for Gnomes, but apparently Reiman Gardens is gnoming it up this year with a garden art festival…..and the GardenMom captured a few squatters.

With a strong passion, I HATE drip irrigation.  HATE IT.  I do understand that there are circumstances that warrant a system, but not here folks.  Designers on Design started the topic…how would you finish it?  “Drip is a Drag”.  Chime in…I did.

Do you like coneflowers?  Like red? Hot? Papaya?  Check this out and drool. The Better Homes & Garden test garden gets all the goodies.

And finally….for the holiday weekend it seems you should hit up Mullets.  No..I’m not talking about your hair…I’m talking about the bar.  I have yet to taste, but Sam Auen the VegChef runs his take on the business in the front…party in the back.
